Dr. Anthony Amechi
Physical Therapist
Anthony Amechi, PT, DPT, MS graduated from the University of Delaware in 2021 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy as well as his Masters in Anatomy and Clinical Health Science. He also attended the University of Maryland, College Park where he received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Prior to joining FX Physical Therapy, Dr. Amechi worked in an outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine clinic. There, he mainly saw active adults and athletes from all age groups. He has primarily treated soccer, lacrosse, basketball, baseball, football, and volleyball athletes. He also enjoys helping people stay active and meet their goals whether it is to compete and finish a 5K or competing in CrossFit events. Dr. Amechi has a special interest in ACL rehabilitation and other sports-related injuries. In his freetime, Dr. Amechi enjoys watching and playing sports, watching anime, lifting weights, and hanging out with friends.
