I had PT from Joe at FX for arthritis in my knee. He was very patient with me and helped work through my pain. By the end of my sessions the pain in my knee subsided significantly. I am very pleased with the quality of one-on-one care provided by Joe and the team at FX.
Additionally, I had issues with my insurance in the beginning and the team worked with my insurance company directly and I didn't have to be bothered with it.
Overall, I highly recommend FX Physical Therapy to help get you through whatever ailments you may have! Thank you all!

I absolutely loved the FX physical therapists and staff! I’ve worked with Chris for a few years for various sports related injuries, and did rehab after getting my meniscus repaired in December. My PT as well as everyone else was extremely motivating and pushed my past what I thought was possible. The facilities and technology provide an experience that caters to your needs. I recommend FX to anyone and everyone!

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with FX Physical Therapy and specifically with Dr. Chris Mooney! He helped our son recover from a sports injury and, just as importantly, taught him how to move and strengthen his body in ways that will help prevent future injuries.
The entire staff is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely invested in their patients’ success. Every visit was a positive experience, and we always felt confident that our son was receiving excellent care. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming.
We are incredibly grateful for the care and support our son received throughout his recovery. We highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for exceptional physical therapy services!

Great experience with Chris and the entire FX Physical Therapy team. I went in for left shoulder impingement and other shoulder issues, and Chris was extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his approach.
They not only treated the problem but helped me understand how to fix and prevent it moving forward. My shoulder feels significantly better thanks to their care.
Highly recommend them to anyone needing physical therapy.

The physical therapists at FX did a fantastic job and helped me recover from surgery as quickly as possible. Every one of them is knowledgeable and great to work with. If you have to have PT, you should see the folks at FX. I cannot imagine it going any better.

Just finished up PT at this location with Emily. Coming in it was post vehicle accident, leaving I feel much better than the first day I went. During my treatment I feel as though Emily really took the time to listen to my concerns and provided me with the exercises, treatment and plan to get me back on path. I really appreciated her apparent knowledge of the workings of the human body and how to improve function, mobility and reduce pains. Her and the team at FX were always positive and provided a great environment to deal with the injury I was experiencing. Thank you all! I would definitely recommend going to this location and definitely giving Emily a try to help you with your concerns. She was top tier in my opinion. -Nick E.

I had an amazing experience with physical therapy here at FX and can’t recommend them enough. I worked with Joe for my left shoulder and upper trap starting in the spring, and from day one he was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in my recovery. He took the time to explain everything clearly, made each session purposeful. Thanks to Joe’s guidance and encouragement, I’ve made significant improvements and feel stronger and more confident moving forward. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of physical therapy.

I suffered a catastrophic back injury in the Line of Duty as a Firefighter, and had a extensive surgical operation performed. I was struggling with recovery and had lost almost all hope of ever returning to the job. That was until I discovered Fx of Hampstead.
Everyone there are truly wonderful people. In particularly my one on one therapist, Dr Emily Bartlett, who I will forever owe a debt of gratitude to. Her knowledge, caring, and compassion are truly incredible. She would always remain positive and confident, and push me safely to the limits with a training routine unlike anything I've experienced at other physical therapist facilities in my life. She never lost hope that I would return to my full duties as a firefighter. Even on days when I would walk in there feeling hopeless, I would walk out of those session with a totally different mindset, every single time.
Without Emily's help, I don't believe I would be returning to full duty in my career profession. It's very rare, almost unheard of, for someone to return to my job, after the operation I had. From the bottom of my heart, I truly can't thank her enough.
I highly recommend choosing Fx Hampstead if in need of physical therapy. I personally, will never go anywhere else for treatment of any injury in the future, except to Fx Hamptead and visit Dr Emily, Dr Buffalo Joe, Dr Jamie, or Dr Chris.

I can’t say enough about the wonderful care the FX team at Hampstead provides. I have had the pleasure of seeing Allison for the past few months for neck and jaw concerns. I leave our sessions with physical relief, laughter in my soul and a home based exercises to continue making progress. Allison exudes expertise, professionalism, and care. I would 100% recommend her services. I also appreciate the all other therapists and team members who I currently am not directly working with, but notice their overall incredibly friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you so much Allison and FX team!

Very satisfied with our experience at FX Physical Therapy. This was our fourth time needing PT for sports related injuries over the past few years and this office was our favorite. Having access to Coppermine’s facilities is a great benefit, providing therapists with.more tools and helping make PT somewhat fun. The therapists and front desk staff were all great to work with. Allison, my son’s primary therapist was excellent at communicating with both of us throughout the process. We hope to not need PT again anytime soon but if we do, we’d definitely go back here.

I visited FX Physical Therapy for help with persistent deep hip pain that was causing discomfort both during the day and while sleeping. I was paired with Jamie, the Clinic Director, and it turned out to be a great match. Through a combination of targeted stretches, strength training, dry needling, and even some helpful adjustments to my stationary bike setup, I’m happy to report that my hip feels significantly better. It’s no longer interfering with my daily activities or sleep.
I now feel confident and equipped with the knowledge to maintain my regular physical activities and minimize the chances of the hip pain returning. However, if it does, I would certainly return to FX for additional treatment.

I had an excellent experience with Emily and Allison in rehabilitating my torn rotator cuff. The surgeon I went to said I would have to have a complete shoulder replacement OR physical therapy. I chose PT and it worked. Both women were kind and gentle and now my shoulder feels great. They prescribed a home exercise program that I intend to use to remain pain free. Thanks! BTW, the entire staff there is great - they really work with you for scheduling that suits your life.

I’ve been seeing Allison for a while now, and she’s absolutely amazing! I actually followed her from her previous workplace because she’s that good. She takes the time to really understand what’s going on, explains everything clearly, and personalizes the treatment to my needs. Every session feels productive, and I’ve seen real progress since working with her. From the friendly front desk crew to the incredible therapists, I can’t recommend Allison, Jamie, and the rest of the team enough — they truly care about their patients

My physical therapist, Dr. Jamie Reider, was beyond amazing. I started physical therapy with several major issues including an injuried calf muscle, hip pain, and sciatica pain. Her knowledge, patience, and motivation has me hiking and gardening again. This is a huge accomplishment considering I barely could walk when I started physical therapy. I won't hesitate recommending Dr. Reider and the FX Hampstead team to my friends and family.

I originally went to FX Physical Therapy due to the location and convenience to my home but will return (although I hope I don't) because of my results. I had total shoulder replacement surgery in May 2025. The one thing I loved about FX is the one-on-one therapy. In most the other PT place I've gone to the therapist has multiple patients and are juggling them. Not at FX, you are the one and only patient during your time there.
ALL the therapists were kind and understanding. Joe was simply amazing. He was caring and compassionate. The people at the front desk were very helpful and accommodating.
I would absolutely recommend FX Physical Therapy to anyone needing physical therapy and want a positive outcome.

If I leave this review, I know I’m risking making it harder to get an appointment in the future—because people will come in droves once they know how good FX Physical Therapy is! But I owe it to Chris and his amazing team for the incredible job they did getting me back into great shape.
My shoulder feels incredible—better than it has in years—and I’m so grateful for the personalized care, expertise, and encouragement I received at every session. I’ve tried other PT places before, but nothing compares. I will never go anywhere else.
FX PT isn’t just another clinic—it’s a place where healing, progress, and real results happen. Thank you, FX, for getting me back to feeling like myself again.

Joe, at FX Physical Therapy has helped me to understand that you must move and strengthen your injured “parts” in order to relieve pain and increase mobility. I went there to rehab my knee but Joe also helped me with my hip pain. Since FX is located inside Coppermine, your PT therapist can utilize the weight room, if appropriate. Joe was very attentive and listened to my concerns and gave feedback. The atmosphere at FX PT is warm, friendly, and they even make it fun! I highly recommend FX for physical therapy.

The best PT!!
Dr. Jaime Reider's knowledge and approach to physical therapy progressed me to achieve a highly effective outcome, and in a very enjoyable and personable manner.
She guided me through a program to strengthen my shoulder after injuring it last summer. Then, after partial knee replacement in November, Jaime brought me back to a normal, strong use of my legs, even helping me address a weakness in my opposite ankle.
On nearly every couple sessions, she would present me with therapy routines that revealed some area that needed strengthening for balance or movement. Her continuous progression approach got me to a point where I often forget that I had surgery because the knee has recovered so well.
Jaime is a rare combination of skill and personality. I looked forward to working with her to bring my knee back to health.
I highly recommend her and will continue to go to her for any future physical therapy needs.

It's hard to believe that I actually looked forward to my PT every time I went. Joe, my therapist, was so knowledgeable and efficient. Although I only worked with Joe, all the therapists were pleasant creating a welcoming atmosphere. All appointment scheduling was easy and the staff easy to work with. I am most satisfied and highly recommend.

I have been going to FX therapy Hampstead for a year with a shoulder injury that turned into needing two surgeries. All the staff at the Hampstead location are phenomenal. There is not one therapist I wouldn’t go to. I mainly had Allison and Chris, however if they were not available I would be with someone else and they were just as wonderful. They also make it a fun experience while making sure you are healing. They are very personable, they get to know who you are and when you walk in, they all make you feel comfortable and welcome. Niki at the front desk is phenomenal as well. She makes sure you get in and keeps track of everything. I was a workers comp case and she made sure I knew what I needed to know about visits and would handle anything that came up. Any time I would call, I would say my first name and she knew who I was immediately. I would 100% go back to them if I need to and I would recommend them to all my family and friends.

I’ve had such an amazing time at Fx! The team allowed me to shadow Allison Dupaya for a few months after school. This was such an amazing to see the other side of physical therapy. I learned so many different concepts compared to what I was learning in class, which is something I find so fascinating.
After shadowing, Jamie was ridiculously kind to let me intern at Fx. She trusted me to come up with exercises and teach them to patients. I’ve been able to see all different types of populations. This has allowed me to further grow as a student and make me more confident in what I want to do in the future. Jamie, Chris, Allison, Tim, and Joe make learning there so fun and like nothing else! I’m so grateful for the opportunity, and can’t wait to keep learning from them!

I went to FX for physical therapy for about 8 months after rotator cuff surgery. Chris Mooney and the staff that collaborated with me made sure that this lengthy process was comfortable and yet challenging to work towards the goals I/we had set for my recovery. They took the time to listen to the reason(s) I was there, made assessments as the recovery process, and communicated very well what the results would or would not be. This facility, programming, and staff have their patients’ best interests and care under constant consideration, and I would recommend them to anyone in the future.

I had a great PT experience with Chris and his team. I saw Chris for pain in my shoulder and neck. When I arrived my pain was at an 8/9 and after a few short weeks my pain had decreased to around a 2. I am analytical so I like the way Chris shares his knowledge and gives you what you need to move forward. I was a skeptic on PT going in but now I know that I avoided surgery due to the success I experienced working with Chris. If you are dealing with something I highly recommend going to see Chris for PT. Life is too short to deal with pain every day.

I worked with Christopher Mooney for about four months before I went on a Scandinavia trip in September, 2024. At 75 yo I had mobility issues. His therapeutic interventions were clearly tailored to my specific needs, and the outcomes were extraordinary. I was able to walk an average of 8,000 steps per day on the trip; before his therapy support, I was not able to walk 2,000 steps per day. My progress was nothing short of miraculous.

As an athlete dealing with injuries, the last thing you want to do is going to an old person PT that will tell you that you have to stop doing what you're doing to feel better and heal.
FX ain't like that. They've got to be the best spot for athletes to do physical therapy. They worked with me to figure out what worked best to get me back out there doing what I love. Everything they do is with fitness and movement in mind.
The Physical Therapists are fantastic and have a huge breadth of knowledge to apply to your situation.
Wish I could give them 10 stars

Dr. Chris Mooney is exceptional. I suffered a nasty disc herniation almost two years ago that traveled up my spine and crushed my sciatic nerve on the way which led to me losing partial motor and sensory function of my left leg. Multiple doctors suggested possible surgery though I wanted to attempt to work through it. I spent a year and a half with Dr. Mooney at FX and wrapped up this past June (*@ Mt. Washington, I see he's at Hampstead now so leaving this review here). I went from being highly anxious about any movements to being back at the gym lifting weights and running/biking my pre-herniation routine again. Full motor and sensory function returned. Having family members and colleagues who have suffered similar injuries WITHOUT going to physical therapy left them with lingering mobility issues. My work with Dr. Mooney, however, did not leave me with that same fate.
Dr. Mooney is meticulous in his work. He thoroughly explains the mechanics of the body through charts and visuals and explains how specific interventions target problem areas. He uses multiple interventions and techniques and is constantly pushing the boundaries of his practice. I have followed Dr. Mooney across different clinics for a variety of minor injuries over the years and will continue to follow him in the future if needed. I am forever indebted to Dr. Mooney for helping get me back to baseline. FX is truly lucky to have him.

Just wanted to take a few minutes to thank Nikki and my PT Tim. I have done other rounds of physical therapy at other facilities but I must say I’m glad I have chosen this place. Nikki has always helped me out with my scheduling and my last minute changes when they have come up and always smiling which goes along way. Tim from the first time we met made me feel like a friend and really took the time to listen and document progress. He is super knowledgeable in his field you will be surprised on muscles you didn’t know you had. He has alway stay in contact with my doctor on my progress which means a lot. So thank you guys for getting me back to where I am today.

Many thanks to Tim Putman for a successful rotator cuff therapy. As an avid gardener and a woman well over age 80, I appreciated his friendly no -nonsense approach to my recovery. At no time were my goals of increased body strength dismissed as unlikely due to my age. His treatment plan was built on carefully observed capabilities and increasing challenges that supported my goal of seeking further general body strength training beyond this therapy.

If I could have given more than 5 stars, I absolutely would have because FX Physical Therapy in Hampstead is phenomenal! Unlike many PT clinics where you rotate through stations with different techs and get to spend very little time with your therapist, at FX your entire appointment is one-on-one with your therapist. I have been treated by both Jason and Jamie as part of the rehab process for a serious fracture and they are both extremely knowledgeable and personable. They would explain why different exercises were beneficial for my recovery and they were always willing to answer any questions that I had about the healing process. Jason and Jamie were very encouraging and they consistently came up with different exercises that accomplished the same task, so that visits never felt boring or repetitive. Aside from the quality of care, Nikki, the administrative assistant is also incredible! She is always on top of scheduling appointments and handling all insurance matters. She is a true pleasure to work with! I have no doubt that others will have the same positive experiences that I did, as the team at FX PT in Hampstead is genuinely invested in their patients and their recovery.

Jason Lawrence was most professional in his manner of providing P.T. He explained what he was doing, how it was helpful, and its impact on my injury. During each session, Jason incorporated consistent hands on therapy throughout the full duration of time. This is quite an improvement to my other past experiences of sole instruction for "at home" exercises in a 20 minute time frame. For me, Jason's measure of success is placing me on a path to my hastened recovery. Thank you Jason ! You will be highly recommended . It is a pleasure to know you .
