I had the pleasure of working with Sara Y. as my physical therapist at FX from the prehab stage before my ACL surgery through about three months post-surgery. Going into surgery, I was nervous and unsure of what to expect, but Sara helped ease my concerns by preparing me for what was ahead and giving me confidence in the recovery process.
She guided me through each stage of my recovery, from regaining my range of motion to rebuilding my strength. With Sara’s support, I made steady progress while feeling challenged in a way that was safe and appropriate for where I was in my recovery. She always knew when to push me, but she was also incredibly caring, patient, and attentive to how I was feeling.
One of the biggest things Sara helped me regain was my confidence — not just in my knee, but in my ability to recover. Her encouragement and belief in my progress made a huge difference. She was always positive, supportive, and brought such a joyful energy to every session.

I had such a positive experience here for pelvic floor therapy. My PT (Robin) was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable and supported from the beginning. The office was easy to work with, scheduling was simple, and they handled my insurance without any issues. Working with Robin has been wonderful! Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about her practice but she brings a level of honest humanity into the room. There is no judgement placed on issues/desired improvements or the work in progress when it tends to feel like it plateaus every once in a while. Robin provides practical knowledge and skills in the appointment that can be used in everyday life giving the opportunity to speed up, get over the hump, and maintain progress.

I have been going to FX PT for 6 weeks now and they have been a great part of my recovery from a lower back injury. My PT specialist, Kelly, listens to my needs and concerns and modifies my PT based on our conversations. Each week I’ve made progress and I now feel more in control of the outcome. I saw Ellen L. over the course of 6 mos. for 2 different issues. Ellen is very personable, friendly, engaged, and invested in the care of her patients. The model of remaining with the same PT instead of jumping around helps with continuity of care. But of course you go to PT for relief or recovery from some injury or chronic pain, and that was accomplished as well. Full range of motion was restored and migraine frequency has all but stopped. Ellen will be my PT recommendation to everyone I know.

Allison Funk is amazing! She had been working with my son recovering from a stress fracture and helped him build back up his strength and mobility. She challenged him with various exercises and stretches and got him back up and running! Highly recommend FX Physical Therapy.

Had 2 different issues going on at the same time and Allison was terrific! She is knowledgeable, personable, and, most importantly she gets positive results! Unfortunately, my injuries required a long recovery, but I am so glad I was with the FX team! I highly recommend them.

My experience at FX has been excellent. Progress has been weekly and my therapist is great. Ellen Green explains exactly why and what exercises she recommends and how to complete them. Each step has improved my mobility and strength. My second time at FX and hopefully I won’t need their services again but if I do I won’t hesitate contact FX for therapy.

SUPERB professionals! I have utilized FX Physical Therapy in Severna Park twice, and have been thoroughly impressed and pleased with their performance. After a very active and physical career in the US Military for over 30 years, I have had numerous injuries I have needed treatment for. Allison Funk was my DPT for both requirements, and her knowledge and clinical treatment was exceptional! I will actively seek her, and FX, out for any additional PT I need!

I can’t say enough good things about Allison Funk!! After fracturing my foot, I wasn’t sure I’d get back to the activities I love—but thanks to their expertise, patience, and support, I went from recovery to skiing and even running a half marathon. They truly listened to my concerns, made each session enjoyable, and always knew how to strike the right balance between pushing me and giving me space to heal. I started seeing Kelly in February due to having a herniated disc C7T1 surgery in August 2024. In the short amount of time coming to see her, I've seen great improvements in mobility and strength! My daughter has seen both Morgan Taylor and Michael Lawson and they have been great! Very friendly and knowledgeable on how to rehab her ankle and get her back to playing soccer. I would highly recommend either of them and I'm sure everyone else on staff is just as wonderful. Scheduling was easy and overall the whole experience has been a good one.

FX Physical Therapy has been a great experience. The physical therapists at FX work with you one-on-one giving patients their full attention for the entire appointment. In particular, working with Allison Funk was great. She is a great physical therapist who takes the time to really understand the patient's needs and goals to get them back on track. She worked with my on my good days and bad to help rehab a post op knee surgeries with accompanying chronic pain. Couldn't recommend her more. =)

I saw Cara Wood for treatment of crystals and imbalance issues. She was great and fixed the problem by the second appointment! Before I could finish my balance PT, I fell and broke my knee. I've been seeing Michael Lawson. He's been incredible and has helped me so much in getting though injury and back on my feet (literally)! Cara has moved to a new location in Waugh

Allison is A SUPERSTAR. With good grace and a smile she helped me help myself recover from a total hip replacement at the age of 53. I have been to other PT places- FX is different. Everyone makes progress. There are no people going through the motions or sitting around waisting time. Every minute of your scheduled time is yours and it is used to help YOU. I took a leap with trying FX Physical Therapy and very quickly it made a huge quality of life change. Highly Recommend.

This being my first experience with physical therapy, I did not know what to expect, nonetheless I committed to getting the treatment across as many sessions as necessary to rehabilitate my injured shoulder. Before my first session both my shoulder mobility and strength were immensely compromised, limiting the use of my left arm, and, at times, the pain could be stifling. Across ten or so sessions with Ms. Ellen Lloyd of the FX team, my shoulder mobility and strength were rehabilitated at or near my pre-injury metrics, additionally I was able to reestablish symmetry between my left and right shoulders. Ms. Lloyd, like the rest of the FX team, is a professional to the highest degree, while maintaining a relaxed and amicable treatment environment. Ms. Lloyd did not pull any punching in administration of treatment or through the exercise, stretching, and mobility regimes—as a result, I got the results I wanted. All and all, I high recommend FX.

FX therapy was a wonderful place. It was 1 on 1, and the technology was up to date and not outdated (I left another place because they were co-treating and using outdated protocols). I am so glad I found FX and Morgan who was outstanding (all of the therapists were great).

I can’t say enough great things about FX Physical Therapy. After throwing out my back and barely being able to walk, I went to see Robin, who was amazing from start to finish. She took the time to understand my injury and created a personalized treatment plan that made a huge difference. Each session with her brought noticeable improvement, and now I’m back to my normal self. The facility is clean, modern, and well-equipped, and the whole staff is welcoming and professional. If you’re dealing with any kind of injury, especially back pain, I highly recommend seeing the team at FX Physical Therapy Severna Park!

When my Orthopedic Dr suggested I go to physical therapy for my lower back and hip pain I was not really thrilled with the idea. The Dr suggested FX Physical therapy and I am so glad she did. Cara Woods has been great to work with. She has been able to show me what is causing my pain and how to help it. Everyone in the office is very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend FX physical Therapy.

With 20 plus years of receiving physical therapy treatment off and on via different offices, FX Physical Therapy, Severna Park stands out above them all. Allison Funk by far has rendered the best treatment for several issues I’ve had. Additionally, I’ve witnessed the other therapists in the office treat their patients and all seem to render first class service while engaging in non-offensive conversations. Morgan Taylor, Office Coordinator/Therapist should be commended for her ability to swiftly, professionally, and respectively handle a situation that could have caused a hostile environment because of a political discussion a patient “attempted” to initiate. The way she approached the issue ensured the patient got the message that those types of discussions weren’t permitted in the office. Additionally, it allowed fellow patients to continue receiving their top-notch treatment without feeling the need to rebut, retaliate, or refute what would have been said. Highly recommend this office! Thanks for the great job FX Therapy, Severna Park!

Absolutely fantastic experience with Cara!! I had a torn ACL and she is helping me come back from this devastating injury and surgery to fix it. The care she takes and the compassion she shows are inspiring. She’s also not scared to push you to your limits- all in efforts to get you back to 100% . She’s super skilled at what she does. I was extremely pleased with the therapy I received for a very troubled knee at FX Physical Therapy. Morgan was so professional and so attentive to my needs. Her " bag of tricks" seemed never-ending and I was very pleased with her creativity. She kept me engaged during a very challenging time! The one on one experience at FX seems to be unusual nowadays. I had been at another center in Annapolis and the therapy sessions seemed a bit scattered, with the therapist working with 2 to 3 people at a time. I really appreciated the individual attention I got at FX and I really truly appreciated my therapist Morgan! Highly recommend this therapy center.

I had shoulder reconstructive surgery on both my right and left shoulder. I’ve been doing PT with FX at their Severna Park location for the past year. I have one month left to go before I can return to work. I have to say the experience at this location has been great. Every staff member has been very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Maddie at the front desk will always greet you with a smile and help you with anything you need. She’s great with scheduling, and handling any questions involving insurance, workman’s comp inquires, etc. Morgan Taylor has been my physical therapist and she’s been absolutely fantastic in every aspect. If you’re looking for a PT company to get you back on your feet, look no further. I highly recommend FX Physical Therapy in Severna Park.

I see Morgan for my PT and she is a keeper! She does every thing in her power to figure out why you have discomfort and then has the best plan to strengthen where you need to.

Christine Is FANTASTIC!! I had chronic back and SI joint pain for almost a year when it got so bad, I thought I was going to have to give up exercising all together. My physical therapy and bodywork with Christine has been so unique. I didn’t even realize her methods are what PT could be like. I’m happy to say, she has not only alleviated my pain, but also continues to evaluate and educate me to keep the pain from becoming a serious issue again. This is honestly the best I have felt in years. I am grateful to have found her!

Christine is the BEST PT in the Baltimore/Maryland area! She's helped me with rehabbing an injury after a marathon is now working with me on little tweaks as I get back into a running/working out routine. I used to see her at a different location and decided to follow her to Severna Park and it's worth it! Clean location, friendly staff at the gym/FX desk and I leave every time feeling refreshed! I love coming here! The staff at the gym is so friendly and I always feel welcome. Christine has been my go to for years! I used to see her in Baltimore City, and now I travel to Severna Park to still have her fix me. She’s helped me with severe pain in my trapezoid, plantar fasciitis while training for half marathons, and all over aches and joints. I leave every appointment feeling like a new person- and with exercises to do on my own at home.
However, you can’t go wrong with any of the PT’s here. Highly recommend coming here for any/all of your needs! You won’t be disappointed.

Christine at FX physical therapy in Severna Park is extremely knowledgeable and absolutely amazing! She is a sole reason I have found comfort and healing with ongoing hip/back issues.
