In September of '25, I visited my orthopedic doctor for rotator cuff pain. The doctor advised PT was the best option and referred me to FX. As luck would have it, Corinne Howe Vikell was available and I scheduled a consultation.

My goals were: avoid surgery at all costs, increased range of motion, improved quality of life.

I am very pleased to give this review. I do not need surgery. I have increased range of motion by 90%. I still have some more range I would like to achieve and we are working on that. Quality of life? It is nice to be able to sleep through the night without waking up in pain.

Dr. Lancellotti is a kind physical therapist who takes the time to explain each exercise clearly. She also provides printouts or emails the exercises so I can continue them at home. The only challenge is that she’s sometimes hard to schedule with because she’s in high demand.

Christy S. fixed me! I am 60 years old and wanted to get active again after over 2 years of relative inactivity due to Achilles tendonitis with a spur. She asked what my goals were: mainly to run again. She worked on my tight Achilles tendon and my very tight calf muscle (which I found out impacted the Achilles issue). After some sessions she encouraged me to give a short run a try. She said the Achilles should be good but the spur may get angry afterwards, but that is ok. I ran for the first time in quite a while. It felt great to be able to do it again > Tendon was fine; the spur got a little angry. Turned out, it was the spur that was preventing me from exercising. Had I not gone to FX PT, I would have stayed conservative and limited with my exercising thinking my Achilles would get worse. She got me to the point and gave me the confidence to run. The spur is and will remain an issue without surgery but the tendon is fine.

Corrine Vikell did a wonderful job on my shoulder, which had arthritis in the AC joint. She provided a perfect mix of manipulation and exercises to get past the nagging pain. I highly recommend Corrine and FX physical therapy and will definitely use them again if needed.

After dealing with persistent shoulder issues, my orthopedist referred me to FX Physical Therapy, where I was scheduled with Corinne. I was skeptical that PT would be beneficial after lengthy sessions years ago (with a different practice and therapist) that provided little to no benefit. I was happy to be wrong. Corinne patiently and professionally worked through my issues and I’ve gotten total relief from my discomfort.

When I recently experienced hip problems, it was an easy decision to work with Corrine again, and as before, I was very pleased with the outcome. She and the rest of the FX team are highly recommended.

I was referred to FX Studios Physical Therapy Program by my spine surgeon, post surgery. I really got lucky with this group. My PT therapist, Maria Nasralla, is great. She is kind, so smart and knowledgeable, has taught me so much, and my back and spine have already improved during my visits. She has taught me so much, I do my exercises at home each day, makes me feel a lot better. She is a true professional, I look forward to my sessions with her. Give her a promotion and a raise, she’s awesome. The entire FX PT group are very welcoming, and a shout out to Miranda, who greets me and checks me in every visit, a very polite young lady and another asset to the FX PT TEAM. I highly recommend this PT program, they are a fun and professional group that gets results.

I am a 73 year old retired nurse. When I could no longer do a squat with my 2 year old grandson, I knew it was time to get help. My son recommended Corinne and I’m so glad he did! I thought PT was only for rehab patients but I was sorely mistaken! Corinne intently listened to the challenges I was having and immediately formulated a plan to meet my short and long term goals.

I have now had over a dozen sessions with Corinne and I can’t believe my accomplishments. I have not yet mastered a squat but I can now get in and out of my short beach chair! And much of this was covered by my insurance. Now that’s a win win!

Working with Corinne has been a fantastic addition to my prenatal experience. Would highly recommend to anyone but especially those experiencing any pregnancy related pains. Birth prep work is made to be not awkward and the stretches and movements suggested have helped bridge the time between appointments. I worked with Maria Nasralla at FX Physical Therapy, Hunt Valley, for a shoulder injury, suspected rotator cuff. Before therapy I had pain even when my arm was at rest and limited mobility. Within a week of beginning therapy I noticed improvement. Maria used objective measures to keep a running record of these improvements. Eventually my shoulder was functioning close to normal and there was no need to consider surgery. Maria made me feel comfortable from the start, and turned what could have been a stressful experience into something positive and confidence-building. She communicates well and I trusted her judgment at each step. Highly recommended.

Maria was my PT and she is INCREDIBLE!!!!! Incredibly detail oriented (I got away with NOTHING - gotta work hard for those PT gains!), incredibly knowledgeable, and a great person to boot! I came to Corinne almost 2 years ago with terrible IT band syndrome. I was just beginning my distance running journey and this was holding me back, it would flare up on every single run. She worked with me for months to prepare for my first marathon in fall of 2023 where I ran pain free! I continue to incorporate the exercise programs she provided into my weekly routine and use the knowledge she’s shared to strengthen and become a better runner. When my doctor said "PT", I told him I'd been down that road before and it never worked. But, he convinced me to give it one more try and so I did, and I found FX. Matt Stitzlein, my physical therapist, is excellent. He listens attentively, understands my issues, and knew exactly what was needed and what exercises would do the trick to get me back to the gym! If you need PT, find FX and better yet find Matt.

I began seeing Corinne after a neck injury and she has been SO helpful in getting me back to full strength and mobility. After trying several physical therapy offices for my issues and seeing no progress, Corinne was able to pinpoint where my pain and muscle weakness was coming from and what we had to do to fix it.

With her help I’ve been able to start weightlifting and playing sports again. She has been so supportive throughout every step of the recovery process, and has also given me the tools to make sure that I stay injury-free and keep up my neck strength. Not only is Corinne an excellent physical therapist, she is also a wonderful human and I could not recommend her enough!!!

She took the time to understand my pain and helped me work through it in a way that I could build my strength back with her and at home. Corinne Howe is an amazing physical therapist. She has helped me through two injuries that have threatened to keep me on the sidelines from some of my favorite activities. In both cases, Corinne treated it as ‘challenge accepted’ , started with the root cause and “rebuilt” me from there, making me stronger after my injury than I was before my injury. All the while making the sessions enjoyable, in spite of 45 minutes of stretching and twisting and turning on the road to recovery. Other staff that I have interacted with at FX are extremely friendly and helpful. Tiara at the front desk is a very delightful welcome and good bye at the start and end of each session. Everyone there is very friendly and it seems like a good team environment.

FX Studios is above and beyond what I would consider part of physical therapy. By working with more than one of the therapists in Hunt Valley, the team approach is helping me heal and rebuild to include the multiple areas of physical decline I have developed over the numerous years of chronic pain. After recently having spine surgery, I was anxious to begin treatment. Prior PT experiences at 2 different facilities were not too helpful… mostly passing me off to different therapists after the first few visits. After researching for a new PT, FX Physical Therapy sounded like the perfect place. I started with Naomi a few weeks ago, and she is wonderful. She explains the reasons for everything that I’m doing along with introducing something different each time. She is positive & encouraging & kind. I love that I’m able to stay with the same therapist & not get pushed off to someone else. In just the short time since I started at FX, I am already starting to feel stronger. Therapists Pat & Naomi have the most gifted hands. Having a complicated injury both therapists went above and beyond on every part of my treatment. Pat designed my treatment to achieve my goals in a timely manner while also being a strong support system in my recovery. Naomi is a strong therapist that supported me with Pat. When recovering was tough, as it normally is, Naomi validated me when I needed it. Together they planned my treatment & when some days are tougher than others they adapt & listen to what I am experiencing. I didn’t know walking in to FX Hunt valley what to expect. I have been working with Corrine for the last 9 weeks since my total knee replacement surgery. From day one she has been nothing but a pleasure to work with. One of the things that I like most is that I have her undivided attention for the entire duration of each visit. She works with me one on one from the time she walks me back to the training room until the time that she walks me back out to the lobby. She pushes me hard (in a good way) in order to get the most out of my therapy and I have had great results because of it. Not only is she a pleasure to work with the entire staff greets you with a smile and interacts with you even if you are not their patient. I highly recommend the FX Physical Therapy team and will certainly be back if the need arises in the future.

This is my second time going to a Physical therapist and I knew that I would be in great hands with FX PT. I was put on Naomi’s schedule and I couldn’t be happier! Had a great experience here with Colin, who helped me get my Achilles tendinopathy under control. I was able to get back to running remarkably quickly (the healing process, not my running...which is only reflective of my capacity, not the care and service provided!)...much quicker than I expected.
