Dr. Morgan Taylor
Clinic Director, Physical Therapist
Dr. Morgan Taylor, PT, DPT, ATC
Dr. Morgan leads the way as Clinic Director of the Severna Park and REPS locations. She brings both a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and Certified Athletic Trainer credentials to the role. Her journey started with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Delaware. From there, she went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Georgia Southern University.
Long before Georgia Southern, Dr. Morgan got her start as an athletic trainer at a local high school. Later, she worked as an athletic training intern with the Chesapeake Bayhawks, a professional lacrosse team. Those early experiences shaped the direction she would take in graduate school. While at Georgia Southern, she worked with USARIEM to help build a tactical athlete program. That program focused on preventing injuries in military personnel through education and functional programming. Her thesis took a similar research-driven approach. It focused on upper-extremity return to sport and activity testing.
Today, Dr. Morgan treats a wide range of orthopedic injuries in youth athletes and active adults alike. She has particular strength in guiding patients through post-operative rehab, especially those recovering from the MACI procedure and ACL reconstruction. She has completed extensive continuing education in running gait analysis as well. Rounding out her expertise are certifications in dry needling and Barbell Rehab.
Five half marathons and one full marathon later, Dr. Morgan still laces up regularly. She stays just as active outside of race training, too. Her husband, family, friends, and rescue dog fill much of her free time. A new travel adventure is never far off, either.
