Dr. Amelia Munro
Physical Therapist
Amelia Munro, PT, DPT, earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh, pursuing a second career after a successful first career in dance and fitness. She also holds a BFA in Dance from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, one of the most competitive dance programs in the country, with a minor in Political Science.
Drawing on extensive experience teaching dance and movement, Amelia has pursued additional education in NASM personal training and OPEX coaching, further developing her expertise in movement analysis, injury prevention, and individualized programming. She has been adjudicated in the Cecchetti Method of Ballet through the Professional Levels as both a student and a certified teacher, and she has comprehensive training in yoga (500-hour) and CrossFit Level 1.
Outside the clinic, Amelia enjoys performing, practicing yoga, weightlifting, and spending time with her adopted Hound/Great Pyrenees mix, Polbear. A fun fact: she once owned a pet services business, “Pets on Parade,” inspired by her love for animals.
