I worked with Sydney for a knee injury. She was a great therapist and helped me get me healthy.
FX as a whole is an amazing company. They are very much patient first orientated. I love the one on one appointments you get which is very different compared to other "big name" physical therapy companies.

FX Fed Hill has made my journey of rehabbing from hip surgery as stress-free as possible. LaDawn was extremely helpful in helping me to navigate all things insurance and scheduling so I could get started and not skip a beat. Friendly and convenient environment with all the resources needed for a successful rehab from surgery/injury.

The Crew at FX-PT-Fed Hill is amazing! Dr’s Nihal Studden and Sydney Smith are very professional, informative, collaborative and helpful. Their personalities are friendly and engaging. The PT I am receiving from Dr. Studden is very good and I am on my way to full recovery from RKnee Surgery on 1/7/25.

I am moving now with considerably less pain AND I am now progressing on certain movements I never thought would be possible. Sydney did an incredible job at not only regularly tailoring my appointments to my needs, but also meeting me where I was, demonstrating sincere understanding of life circumstances that can contribute to someone’s non-linear progress and collaborating with me to fine-tune my strength training program even with my most nit-picking questions and concerns; she always created a welcome space that made me feel genuinely at ease and cared for. I also appreciate that this clinic offers certain manual therapies, which I felt definitely made a difference in my recovery. I also need to shout out Nihal who, despite not being my own PT, was always happy to help me when he could and also made me feel at home, and of course LaDawn at the front desk who always set the friendly tone for the day

Nihal is a great physical therapist. The office is super easy to schedule with and I've never had a problem with insurance. The PT space is private enough that it doesn't feel like a whole crossfit class is watching you, and the variety of available equipment means getting to do exercises I don't have the supplies for at home. The only thing I wish was different was the parking lot, but that's not a reflection of the quality of the service they provide, just the limitations of being on Key Highway.

I've been working with Taylor for almost 2 years now and she's an amazing physical therapist. After rehabbing my leg and ankle (with another break in between) and not seeing full recovery and improvement, she recommended I go back and see another orthopedic doctor. When I finally met with a surgeon who was willing to address all of the issues in my ankle/leg, I went through with surgery and am now back rehabbing with Taylor. I am hoping to make a full recovery this year and would highly recommend Taylor to anyone seeking PT.

Great place to get the help you need! All the therapist are attentive and punctual. They listen to you thoroughly and walk you through the movements. They really work to help you get to what your goals are, making sure you’re comfortable along the way. That’s not to say they won’t challenge you with new exercises. My therapist, Taylor, does a phenomenal job in making sure I understand the flow of our workout and what options are available to me.

I cannot write enough great things about FX PT Fed Hill. I have been going here since August, with ongoing back issues. Nihal and Jo have been lifesavers through my recovery journey. I have been working closely with Nihal and its clear he really cares about his patients, prioritizes your long term goals, and is very thorough listening to your needs. The best part is the appointments are 1 on 1 so you feel comfortable to ask any questions and learn how to properly do specific movements. I actually look forward to going here every time because I always leave feeling better than I did before. I can't recommend FX PT enough!!

Have been to the Fed Hill office on two occasions with lower back pain over the last year. One for 3/4 visits and the second for a more sustained period of time. Both experiences result is quick immediate reduction in the pain and then the subsequent visits working on mobility and strengthening muscles. Jo and Nihal were both able to get me back to loving about and doing my day to day in no pain within 1 or 2 sessions.
I really appreciate the attention and focus of the one on one treatment as I tend to struggle to sustain “homework” and the one on one nature makes me more accountable.
I have been treated by Jo but mostly worked with Nihal. They are both attentive to my responses and adjust accordingly.
I would have no reservations in recommending this office!

I started PT with FX after my orthopedic surgeon recommended them for my lower back based on my MRI. Rachel has been fantastic! A few sessions of PT did more for me than an entire summer of chiropractic. Even better the Harbor Connector takes me there from Fells Point across the harbor for free! The staff, location, and facility are top notch and I highly recommend them.

The FX Physical Therapy - Fed Hill Team are amazing. Great location, with friendly and highly capable staff, in a facility that would inspire anyone to get back in shape. My therapist understood my needs, created a custom program, and patiently guided me back to health. I highly recommend them!

Jo at FX is the best PT out there! She has worked with me on back pain and both shoulders over the years. She actively listens to what you're experiencing, she's incredibly knowledgeable about the latest research and thoughtful in her approach. She understands all different kinds of exercise, so you don't have to explain what different lifts and movements are. 10/10 would recommend!

I've been going to this location for over a year and couldn't be more impressed with the level of care. Other PT offices send you off to exercise or ice while attending to other patients but FX is 1:1 and treatment from Jo is personalized and hands on. I've been very comfortable with the safety protocols in place, the facility is well equipped and Jo does a great job explaining physiology, communicating treatment plans and providing preventative care advice.

Jo at FX Physical Therapy helped me get back to doing the things I love after a wrist injury and has helped me manage some recurring hip/hamstring pain in a proactive and empowering way. She is so invested in her patients' journey back to health and always so personable and enjoyable to spend time with, as well as considerate of your schedule and unexpected changes. My experience with FX Fed Hill, specifically Jo, has been fantastic. I used to deal with some severe hip pain that really limited my running. Now, with Jo’s help, I’m essentially pain free and plan to run a marathon later this year.
Jo does a great job of designing treatment plans for specific needs and really listens when you tell her things are or aren’t working. I’d 100% recommend her to anyone looking for PT in the area.

My husband and I both use FX in Federal Hill for physical therapy, and have had a terrific experience.
When the parking isn't available out front, we have no trouble finding free street in the area.
The front desk staff is pleasant and friendly, and has great knowledge about insurance coverage and billing.
We both see Jo for therapy, and I cannot say enough great things about her. She is attentive to our issues, and keeps good record of our progress and ongoing issues.
Time during sessions consists of both massage, and instruction stretching and exercises to do at home. Jo has a wonderful, upbeat personality, which is refreshing. She never seems tired or bored with our problems, even after many visits.
I highly recommend FX Federal Hill, and their more sports related approach to physical therapy. They are great!
