Dr. Amanda Hodgetts

Physical Therapist

Amanda Hodgetts, PT, DPT, earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of Maryland College Park in 2019 where she completed two years of the modern dance program. During her time there, Dr. Hodgetts was involved in various dance and public health organizations on and off campus including Maryland Youth Ballet’s class for children with special needs. 

Dr. Hodgetts obtained her Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland Baltimore. During her time there, she witnessed a variety of patient populations with orthopedic and neurological injuries. She spent much of her clinical experience treating patients within the athletic population including CrossFit, Baseball and Lacrosse players. 

Dr. Hodgetts enjoys using her background as a dancer to help better understand and treat patients within the active population, especially those within the performing arts field. When she’s not treating patients, Dr. Hodgetts loves to stay active through bike rides, weight lifting, skiing and dancing and is an avid baker and reader.
