Dr. Paxton Kieley

Dr. Paxton Kieley, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Dr. Paxton’s journey started at the University of Maryland, College Park, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health. She then completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Her clinical training took her to two very different worlds. In one, she worked alongside middle school, high school, and college athletes in a sports-focused outpatient setting. In the other, she was treating hikers, runners, mountain bikers, and skiers at a clinic in Alaska.

Ask Dr. Paxton who she loves treating most, and the answer comes quickly: high school athletes, runners, and active older adults. Staying current on the latest research shapes every decision she makes with patients. Strength and conditioning principles show up in her treatment plans, alongside a heavy emphasis on patient education. Her goal is simple. She helps patients return to the activities they value most. At the same time, she empowers them to build a real understanding of how movement heals the body.

Running, weightlifting, hiking, and swimming keep Dr. Paxton busy outside the clinic. Reading and kicking around a soccer ball with friends round out her downtime. Travel has taken her further than many, too. She has explored twelve countries solo!
